At Global Muffler, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of all our aftermarket exhaust components. Our goal is to ensure every customer receives dependable and durable parts designed to perform.
Limited Warranty Coverage
We offer a limited 1 year warranty that covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. If a product is found to have a defect within the warranty period, we will offer a replacement or, in some cases, a refund—subject to our inspection and approval.
What’s Covered:
- Defects in material or workmanship present at the time of manufacture
- Parts that fail due to a verified manufacturing issue
- Incorrect items shipped due to our error
What’s Not Covered:
While our warranty does cover manufacturing defects, it does not cover:
- Catalytic converter substrate is melted or broken, as this results from vehicle issues rather than a defect in the converter itself.

No engine light Warranty on Catalytic Converters - Catalytic converters do not fail on their own—any check engine light is typically caused by an underlying engine issue, not the converter.
- Engine misfires (spark plugs, coils, timing issues)
- Faulty oxygen (O2) sensors
- Fuel system problems (injectors, rich fuel mixture)
- Oil or coolant contamination
- Exhaust leaks or improper installation
- Any unresolved engine performance issues
- Damage caused by road hazards, impact, or accidents
- Exposure to salt, extreme weather, or road conditions
- Normal wear and tear, including rust, corrosion, and discoloration over time
- Improper installation or modifications
- Use in racing, commercial, or off-road applications
We’re sorry to hear about any issues you may be experiencing with your exhaust part. Please understand that while we make every effort to deliver high-quality components, external factors like salt exposure, road debris, and vehicle age can affect the longevity of any exhaust part—and are not covered under our limited warranty.
Warranty Claim Process
To file a warranty claim:
- Contact us via our Contact Page with your order number and photos of the issue
- Our team will review your submission and respond within 2–3 business days
- If approved, we will provide instructions for next steps
