Muffler was a direct fit and works fine. It has a very close to stock sound, maybe slightly more aggressive under full throttle. No drone on the highway and quiet at idle. Smaller outside dimensions and about 15lbs less than the factory one it replaced.
Why 4 stars? Packaging could have been much better as the muffler came with a small dent, a footprint on it and some scratches, these did no affect the functionality of it however it would have been nice to start with it undamaged.
arrived in good shape. I needed to adapt this muffler to my truck as they apparently dont sell a unit for my year truck anymore . Just a matter of cutting of the curved inlet pipe and installing a straight piece of exhaust pipe. Seller did that for me, and threw in 2 proper sized muffler clamps. excellent.
